AbsorbTech was started in 1996 with a goal of being the first in the industry to achieve ISO 9002 Certification.
Because of our certification and continuing effort to retain this certification, you can be assured that any product that comes into our plant is treated in such a manner that it is cleaned to our strict standards, and processed in a way that is environmentally friendly, as well as economically efficient for your company.
In 1997 AbsorbTech achieved ISO 9002 certification, the first for a full facility industrial laundry in the US. The certification was most recently renewed in 2006 as ISO 9001:2000.
AbsorbTech earned an ISO 14001:2004 certification and an ISO 9001:2000 recertification for quality excellence in 2006. These combined certifications solidify AbsorbTech’s industry leading position in both quality and environmental management systems. ISO certification is internationally recognized as a quality and environmental assurance achievement.
Obtaining ISO 14001:2004 certification is important to AbsorbTech for several reasons:
- Obtaining an ISO 14001:2004 certification

- This certification provides a significant
edge over our competitors; we are one of the first industrial launderers
to obtain the ISO
